Skidving at the Speed of Sound

A human has broken the speed of sound during free fall. Felix Baumgartner is the first to break the sound barrier without a vehicle. Staring from a balloon near the edge of space 24 miles up, Felix reached a maximum speed of 834 mph and fell for over 4 minutes. He had to wear a special pressurized suit so his innards wouldn’t seep from his orifices.
