“The Harmonica Lewinskies are heartbroken and crushed by the passing of our own “Jesus” Dan McLane Lewinsky on April 28th, 2016. Words are hard to come by at a time like this. He was our rock. He rocked. Our love for him and his family is overflowing,” stated the post on the The Harmonica Lewinskies Facebook page.
Dan McLane was a guitarist and vocalist for the “Funk, Soul, Dad Rock” band out of New York, New York. “He was my best mate, and we are just trying to honor him the only way we know how, with the music. He was a real ambassador for this musical community in which he lived,” says Zebedee Row bassist and vocalist for The Harmonica Lewinskies.
Their website describes the band as, “The Harmonica Lewinskies are the type of band you’d bring home to your momma and in two months time, your momma would be dating them. Over the past five years, they have amassed a dirty cornucopia of influences ranging from Delta Blues, to molten Rock and Roll, to the art of seduction. Listen responsibly.”
